- Do you have something to say about key calendar dates such as Christmas, Valentine’s Day, Halloween or anniversaries specific to your business?
How to write
Blogging is different from other styles of business writing. At best, he is friendly and talkative, not dumb. The best advice I’ve had is to write like you’re chatting with a friend or hire a professional writer. Read it out loud and then cut out any words you wouldn’t use with this friend; change jargon to everyday language.
Beginning and continuation
The Internet is full of forgotten blogs. Blogs that were started with great intentions and then quietly abandoned.
Don’t expect quick results. Every article you post is like a fishhook in an ocean of competition. Some get caught in shallow waters, while others hang around for months or years without a bite, only to catch a whale just when you thought no one would ever notice.
The structure will keep you informed. Create an editorial calendar for your first 10-15 articles (see the “what to write about” section above to get started).
